Australia’s largest mosque has cancelled its traditional Friday prayer and chosen instead to hold prayers in the park for peace in Palestine.
“This Friday, 20 October 2023, Lakemba Mosque will be closed for Friday Jummah only,” the mosque confirmed in a statement.
“Jummah prayers will be held at Parry Park Lakemba for peace in Palestine.”
